Ganga Water - New Infrastructure Work In Progress
Water Challan Transferred in the name of Cape Town Residence Association
300MM Dia Water Pipe Approval from Jal Board
🌊 Capetown AOA – Water Update 🌊
Dear Residents,
Your AOA has worked tirelessly to resolve long-pending water issues and secure a sustainable supply of quality water for all of Capetown. Here’s what we’ve achieved for you:
✅ Gangajal Supply Strengthened
A new 150 mm Gangajal line was laid and connected to Pump Room 1, doubling supply and improving water quality with reduced TDS.
Approval for a 300 mm additional Gangajal line has been obtained from Noida Authority. Once commissioned, it will be sufficient to meet the entire water requirement of all 5000 flats and permanently resolve water quality concerns.
✅ Ownership & Accountability Secured
The Capetown water connection is now officially in AOA’s name. For the first time, water bills are being paid directly by AOA and are fully up to date.
By persistent efforts, we ensured that all pending water dues (> ₹23 crore) are confirmed as builder’s liability – not residents’.
✅ Infrastructure Upgrades
Replaced over 200 meters of old, damaged water pipelines. Started two pump houses to feed overhead tanks, ensuring uninterrupted supply.
✅ Legal & Administrative Success
In 2019, AOA pushed Noida Authority to issue challans against the builder for unpaid dues. Recovery Certificates were issued in 2021, and in 2022 dues were directly claimed from IRP Supertech, ensuring no liability falls on residents.
💧 Impact for Residents:
Today, Capetown residents enjoy a more reliable, cleaner, and secured water supply system, with future-proofing already in progress through the 300 mm line approval.
Thanks and Regards,
Capetown AOA
